Job Purpose: The Shift Incharge - Warehouse FG (Loading and Dispatch) is responsible for managing and overseeing the loading and dispatch processes of finished goods in the warehouse. This role aims to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of products while maintaining a zero-harm safety culture. The Shift Incharge will lead a team to optimize operational performance, meet dispatch targets, and foster collaboration with other departments. By implementing continuous improvement initiatives and adhering to safety and regulatory standards, this position plays a crucial role in achieving overall warehouse effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Promote Safety Culture:

  • Lead safety initiatives, conduct training sessions, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a zero-harm environment.
Ensure Operational Efficiency:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, optimizing workflows to achieve maximum output while adhering to budgetary and manpower constraints.
Enhance Warehouse Processes:
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes such as rework, pallet verification, and inventory management (FIFO/LIFO) to streamline operations.
Meet Departmental Goals:
  • Develop and execute strategies to minimize delivery order creation times, control damages, and improve loading turnaround times (TAT).
Foster Interdepartmental Relationships:
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams to support talent management and succession planning, enhancing overall warehouse performance.
Drive Continuous Improvement:
  • Evaluate existing processes and systems, propose innovative ideas, and implement changes that enhance efficiency and ease of operations.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
  • B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering (Industrial/Logistics).
  • Desired: BE/B.Tech.
Work Experience (Range of years):
  • Min 2-5 years in loading and dispatch operations. Skilled in logistics coordination and equipment management.
