We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Deputy Manager for Warehouse / Material flow Management & Transportation to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, optimizing material flow, and managing transportation logistics to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes.

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and distribution Develop and implement strategies to improve material flow and warehouse efficiency Oversee transportation logistics, including route planning and carrier management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork Manage vendor relationships and negotiate operational topics for transportation and warehouse services Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs

Qualifications

Any graduation / Post Graduation / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Proficiency in warehouse management systems, supply chain management software, and transportation management systems Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and best practices Excellent leadership and team management skills Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel In-depth understanding of warehouse operations, material flow management, and transportation logistics Experience with implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives Certifications in warehouse management or logistics (preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support warehouse operations
