Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables


Participation & Alignment with the objectives and processes requirement to deliver results in accordance with internal and external customer requirements, and the organization's policies (Sector, Plant & Dept). Demonstrate CAB behaviour amongst the operating team through actions. Exposure & Thorough knowledge of ISO 9000 - Quality Management, ISO TS 16949 - Quality Management, OHSAS 18001 - Occupational Health & Safety, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Evaluate & plan proactively the requirements of resources in term of People and Process requirements, Quality system requirements. Identify skill gap among operators & Prepare competency matrix, Plan trainings & On job training, Interactions on floor & knowledge sharing Deployment of Associates as per the minimum Skill requirement of operations. Monitoring of Production losses, bucketing of losses & action planning to eliminate reoccurrence. Ensure FIFO is maintained of rolled vehicles to achieve Roll down to RFD target Having Good Analytical Skills, Collaborative approach & Team work to resolve critical issues. Adherence to DWM in line with Dept DWM and ensure the efficacy for the results through strict adherence. Ensure optimal utilization of resources for scheduled production (Man/Machine/Material) preparation of operator workstation skill matrix for Production, Quality, safety. Plan and adhere Process walk through (Process Audit) to ensure Discipline, cleanliness and repair consistent with the product and manufacturing process needs. Carry out process walk through for Defect reduction, root causes analysis and actions Planning to improve overall Process adherence & Product Quality. Participate in LSP, RFI product Audits, prepare and submit immediate action plan against process concerns to control and eliminate those concerns. Review DCP documents as per the defined frequency to meet process requirement & adherence to QMS requirements. Ensure production and schedule adherence as per Day, Month requirement. Involve and develop safety culture on shop floor by means of adherence to monthly safety themes, safety meetings, SOT rounds, theme base drive, BBS 2 & ergonomics. Encourage and motivate operators to identify unsafe condition, near miss & unsafe act to build safe work environment. Ensure MIS for management reporting, timely & Updation of respective DWM charts. Coordination between functions internal & external & Central Functions for change management implementation
