Role PurposeVodafone has recently completed its largest business transformation project for back-office Finance, Supply Chain and HR operations, and we now have approximately 140,000 users of this new solution. With so many users, in over 20 countries working in so many process areas, you can imagine how vital user access is to our business. To this end, we have a Global Roles, Governance & Compliance (RGC) team based here in Pune governing role design and user controls. At the heart of our business processes and solutions, this is a fantastic team working with colleagues worldwide.
The SAP SuccessFactors Role Designer plays a critical role in ensuring the access to the EVO SAP HR system is designed in line with our Core Business Model and built in line with our compliance policies. The SuccessFactors Role Designer is the RGC representative for change requests within the SuccessFactors demand and program iteration process. This role is responsible for engaging with system integrators, analysis of SuccessFactors role-based permissions (RBP) or change requirements to ensure that all required security settings are included for the design and build of RBPs to ensure that the business requirements are fully met for support during the testing of Demands ensuring all Vodafone EVO Security policies are met.
The other expectation is to maintain communication with System Integrator Tracks and Project Managers to ensure all security aspects are delivered within demands. The responsibility includes RBP design, role build, testing and go-live preparation for individual demands.
They are also expected to identify potential improvements and drive enhancements to ensure world-class user security management. The SuccessFactors Role Designer will also be the Point of Contact with the Global teams for issue resolution and further enhancement of RBP design and user access process

• Analyse the solutions received from the System Integrator to ensure all aspects of user access security are followed.
• Design, build and test consistent global roles for EVO systems ensuring adoption and implementation of SuccessFactors application best practices.
• Ensure all RBPs are incorporated in the EVO Roles Catalogue
• Ensures that all user processes are controlled in line with the Global IT and SOX Controls
• Manage the design of SuccessFactors role-based permissions to meet business requirements and provide expertise to the broader Vodafone business regarding user security

Ability to understand business requirements and verify authorization impact on role-based permissions.

• Ability to convert a functional specification into role-based permission designs

• Ability to identify gaps and implement process improvements
• Strong governance mentality

Technical and Professional QualificationDeep knowledge (5-8 years experience) of SAP implementation and support with exposure to SuccessFactors. An added advantage for experience in various SAP modules S4HANA, BI, MDG, etc.

• Good Management and consulting skills in managing end to end implementation or upgrade projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills with hands- knowledge to provide techno-functional inputs to the business.
• Ability to work in a global environment and deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on quality
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• General knowledge of GRC, SoD analysis, SOX, and IT controls
