Position: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Procurement Operations

Role Overview:
The DGM - Procurement Operations will be responsible for end-to-end procurement execution of large, high-value, and time-critical projects. This role acts as a single-point owner for procurement delivery, ensuring materials and services are sourced, purchased, quality-checked, and delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of procurement for big ticket and critical projects
Understand project scope, BOQ, specifications, and timelines
Act as a bridge between Procurement, Operations, and Project teams
Decide sourcing strategy (existing vendors, NVD, fast-track vendors)
Support rate finalization and vendor negotiations
Monitor PR-to-PO cycle and ensure timely PO releases
Track order execution, dispatch, delivery, and inward status
Ensure QC plans are implemented and followed
Coordinate logistics, warehouse inward, and GRN
Identify risks and take corrective and preventive actions
Lead and guide procurement project teams
Prepare project-wise MIS and management reports
Drive process improvement for large project procurement

Qualification & Experience:
Graduate / Engineer / MBA (Supply Chain preferred)
12-18 years of experience in procurement and operations
Experience handling large and critical projects is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
