Job Description

The role involves proactively monitoring the credit portfolio to identify early signs of stress and mitigate potential risks. The incumbent will be responsible for portfolio monitoring of accounts in detail, and implementing and enhancing Early Warning Signal (EWS) frameworks, conducting portfolio analytics, and providing actionable insights to strengthen the risk posture of the organization.

This position sits within the Risk team and acts as a critical link between frontline credit, risk, and senior management by offering timely alerts and inputs for decision-making.

You will be responsible for:

Credit Operations and Portfolio Monitoring
Detailed Portfolio monitoring of account from a Risk perspective (knowledge of credit underwriting parameters is a must). Responsible to monitor day to day functioning of Credit Operations and EWS Alerts. Ensure enhancing quality & quantity of EWS alerts. Reduce the frequency of EWS alerts from monthly to weekly/daily to real time alerts. Enhance the productivity of Credit Operations Teams

Project Management
Co-ordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope & within budget. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop a detailed project plan to track and align sponsors on progress. Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

You will be reporting to:

Associate Vice President - Portfolio Risk Management.

What will you bring to the table?

3+ years of experience. Largely in bank managing high tickets loans. underwriting/ monitoring. Detailed understanding of collateral monitoring. Understanding of credit underwriting of large ticket corporate loans/ working capital loans. Project Management experience. Understanding of PM and risk tools. Good communication and negotiation skills. Experience in manual to automation of multiple processes related to EWS/Underwriting.

The educational qualification you'll need:

Gradutae / Post Graduate.
