Our strongest asset is our 6400+ people enabling us to deliver on our mission consistently. Know more about us: Brief about the Team The category team is a center of excellence within Tata 1mg. The team executes cross-functional tasks in order to improve selection, pricing, and service. The team works with manufacturers for growing their brands on the platform. The scope of work extends across various business sectors, encompassing e-pharma, institutional operations, e-diagnostics, and retail. What will you do . Lead the category function for select categories, acting as its complete business owner for overall growth & expansion . Define strategic growth plan along with end-to-end management of the same work with cross-functional teams to drive the means to growth . Go deep into understanding what customer wants, strategize from the ground up, and drive complete ownership of delivering results. This will include working with product, technology, marketing, and supply chain teams . Drive vendor initiatives of new supply acquisition and enable account growth on the platform. Catalyze new areas of category growth with catalog expansion . Manage the online funnel metrics, including setup of effective pricing through promotions and offers, ensuring focus on unit economics . Lead relationship and growth planning for high-value star accounts . Be growth-focused, looking to expand into new segments and taking complete ownership to drive it What we are looking for . 2-4 years of post-MBA work experience in FMCG sales, consulting, or category management prior e-commerce experience will be preferred . Experience in driving sales for vendors & customer, in a Retail or B2C setup . Growth mindset, ability to manage ambiguity, and attitude to take ownership . Experience in defining & driving salable Product solutions for an e-commerce platform would be an advantage, though not necessary .
