Role Overview
We are looking for an
Operations Leader-in-the-making
-- a person who can grow into the role of
Chief Operating Officer
over time. The ideal candidate will have strong execution experience, a system-oriented mindset, and the integrity to make decisions that are right for both people and projects. We offer performance linked incentive of up to 15% of salary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Oversee day-to-day site operations for residential / redevelopment projects.
Prepare and monitor
project schedules, budgets, and material procurement plans.
Coordinate effectively between
architects, consultants, and site engineers
to maintain design and quality intent.
Track progress through regular reporting and flag early risks or delays.
2. Process & System Development
Establish
checklists, templates, and reporting formats
to improve efficiency.
Support implementation of
ERP/CRM tools
and digital tracking for materials, approvals, and costs.
Maintain
RERA and statutory compliance
documentation for projects.
3. Vendor & Cost Management
Assist in vendor shortlisting, negotiations, and contract administration.
Monitor
cash flow, billing, and cost control measures
.
Promote transparent and fair dealings with suppliers and contractors.
4. Leadership & Team Coordination
Lead site and office teams with
clarity, discipline, and empathy
.
Mentor junior engineers and promote teamwork.
Act as a bridge between site realities and management vision.
5. Growth Path
This role is designed for someone who can
evolve into a COO role
in 3-5 years through consistent performance, system-building ability, and value alignment.
Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering
(mandatory)
MBA / PG in Project or Construction Management
(preferred)
5-10 years of experience
in real estate project execution or operations (Pune region preferred)
Experience in
redevelopment / residential projects
will be an advantage
Familiarity with Municipal
approval processes
,
RERA compliance
, and
project costing.
