ATGL is actively involved in the development of City Gas Distribution (CGD) networks, supplying Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to domestic, commercial, and industrial users, as well as Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to the transport sector. The company has established CGD networks in various regions, including Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat, Faridabad in Haryana, and Khurja in Uttar Pradesh. JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless, efficient, and compliant operations of an individual plant. By focusing on production efficiency, quality management, and risk mitigation, the position delivers measurable outcomes that align with organizational objectives and growth targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead - Operations - Plant - O4
Plant Operations Management:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure continuous production, achieving improvement in plant output and operational reliability.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize plant-level processes, delivering reduction in waste and improvement in production efficiency.
  • Oversee administrative activities and financial transactions for the assigned plant, ensuring alignment with budgetary controls and corporate policies.
  • Manage logistics arrangements for the assigned plant, including transportation and storage of feedstock and finished products.
Quality and Compliance Management:
  • Supervise quality labs on feedstock checks and batching processes, ensuring adherence to organizational quality standards and minimizing quality deviations.
  • Ensure complete compliance with HSE protocols and statutory regulations, addressing any identified gaps promptly and effectively.
  • Implement robust quality assurance practices, driving measurable improvements in product consistency and customer satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Generate, analyze, and report daily performance metrics to track progress against production and cost-saving targets.
  • Maintain daily reports, MIS systems, and quality control documentation for the assigned plant.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to achieve measurable improvements in productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Coordinate with local agencies, feedstock suppliers, and government authorities to maintain smooth plant operations.
  • Collaborate with the regional head to address escalated issues and align on operational priorities and performance targets.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering or a similar field.
Work Experience:
Relevant experience of 4+ years, preferably in a senior operations management or a project management role, in CBG or biofuel segment.
Preferred Industry:
Experience in the CBG industry is preferred.
