What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Project manager for small to medium projects and program workstreams.
  • Assist senior project managers on larger projects and programs.
  • Coordinate all project management activities including project planning, scoping, requirements gathering, design, testing, production migration, and post-production project review.
  • Identify appropriate business project resources & assist in the resource plans to support project efforts.
  • Identify, triage, track, communicate, mitigate, and escalate (as required) all risks and issues.
  • Compile status reports and facilitate project status meetings including minutes and action items.
  • Develop leadership and executive presentations for Steering Committee and PMO.
  • Adapt quickly to changes within the project by taking ownership of problems and issues and managing to resolution.
  • Budgeting and tracking project financials.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Project Management certification (PMP/ Prince2 Practitioner).
  • Experienced candidates with a couple of years of experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of Finance Operations processes, procedures, and applications or Financial Accounting experience in the financial services/ insurance industry.
  • Working knowledge of Controller processes and related financial statement preparation (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of Insurance regulations including IFRS, Solvency II, and US GAAP (nice to have).
  • Skilled in Microsoft tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to take work with multiple stakeholders, work independently, and be accountable for work assigned.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with others, leveraging their skills.
  • Ability to manage 3rd party contractors.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Good time management. Has a sense of personal accountability and a can-do, will-do attitude.
