Scale Healthcare ( India ) is hiring for Deputy Manager (DM)- Medical Coding Location: Mohali, Punjab Employment Type: Full-Time [Work from Office] Working Location: Sector 74, Mohali- Punjab hashtag#KeyResponsibilities: Oversee multiple coding teams, ensuring alignment with department goals. Monitor KPIs, such as coding accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time. Handle client communication via email and calls to address concerns and provide updates. Lead transitioning for new clients, creating, updating, and ensuring team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Resolve complex coding issues and documentation discrepancies. Develop and implement strategies to improve coding compliance and efficiency. Ensure compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer regulations. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to Team Leads. Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and system upgrades. Prepare detailed reports on coding performance for senior management. hashtag#Requirements: Must hold bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred. 7-10 years of experience in medical coding or US RCM, with 2-3 years in a leadership role. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification required. Advanced knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer coding guidelines. Proficiency in RCM platforms (e.g., Athena, eCW etc.) and analytics tools. Strong leadership, client communication, and strategic planning skills.
