Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead New Product Development using APQP and CDMM methodologies.
• Extensive experience with Gray Cast Iron, SG Castings, and GDC/PDC Casting.
• Deep knowledge of Aluminum Alloys, casting processes, surface treatments, painting, and machining.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, casting tolerances, die layouts, and machining processes.
• Define product and process requirements and identify suitable suppliers.
• Perform technical synthesis and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Manage RFQs, conduct manufacturing feasibility studies, and commercial quote comparisons.
• Ensure part development adheres to project requirements, including prototypes, tooling, and PPAP approval.
• Establish run rates and capacity based on volume projections, and plan/execute FTG.
• Conduct VAVE workshops for cost reduction, with strong understanding of PFMEA, control plans, quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and GD&T. .
