for automobile manufacturing operations. The role focuses on
timely sourcing, cost control, vendor coordination, and ERP-based procurement management

Key Responsibilities
Procure CAPEX items, production machinery, tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, and forging machine spare parts
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Project teams to understand technical requirements
Float RFQs, collect quotations, and prepare technical & commercial comparison statements
Support commercial negotiations and finalize purchase orders
Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules, quality, and documentation
Coordinate installation and commissioning activities with internal teams
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor data in ERP systems (SAP)
Support import procurement, logistics, and customs documentation when required
Track CAPEX spending and submit periodic reports to senior management
Required Qualification
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering / Supply Chain / related field
Experience Required
8-9 years
of experience in
CAPEX or project procurement
Strong exposure to
forging machine spares, dies, tooling, and maintenance procurement
Experience in
automobile or auto component manufacturing
preferred
Required Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge of
forging technology and forging machines
Understanding of
machinery, tooling, forging spares, and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with
ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of
quality standards, especially IATF 16949
Ability to understand
technical drawings and specifications
Good communication, coordination, and basic negotiation skills
Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
