Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Expert Knowledge of Foundry Technology processes, Facilities and equipments.Identify new facilities and equipments in line with business demands and benchmarking with similar industries.Knowledge of elemental cost e.g. Fixed/Variable/Inventory and capital cost and its measures to control it.Resource planning for existing facilities as well as new developments.Knowledge on work measurement techniques/ Time study/MOST study etc.To ensure effective material handling system for product and processes.To update plant layout incorporating new facilities and equipments.To prepare central MIS system for unit.Identify improvement opportunities for productivity imporovement.Plan and prepare Capex and Revenue budget , monitoring of it in line with targets.Control and monitoring of contractual activities in line with current and future business demand.Blue collar manpower resource planning.Identification, Control and monitoring of all Improvement Projects, (OPP/WC/DEWT/MFR/VSM/Productivity/OEE/OLE/OPE) and Review them on periodic basis.Execution of All capex projects from planning to parts proveout.Identifying Establishing new emerging processes and technology for PU.To Ensure establishment of new equipment, Products and processes with PPAP, routing, and BOM updation in system.To ensure capitalization of asset as per target.Control and monitoring of Life of Capital asset and device replacement plan.Control and monitoring of physical asset inventory.To develop MIS on various Business performance parameters at PU level.LTS implementation by ensuring all the requirements under 4M are met.Application knowledge of project management softwares is must MS Projects and CAD.Required Knowledge and experience of Foundry manufacturing processes, components, equipments and facilities to ensure smooth running of operations
