Job Description

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and service-level agreements.
  • Provide legal support for corporate transactions, regulatory filings, and internal governance matters.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, compliance requirements, and dispute resolution strategies.
  • Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Maintain and update legal documentation, templates, and contract repositories.
  • Support litigation management and coordinate with legal advisors for case strategy and documentation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, and sector-specific requirements.
  • Provide legal support for data privacy initiatives, including drafting privacy policies, cookie policies, disclaimers, and internal data protection policies.
  • Support the Data Privacy Team in implementing consent frameworks and managing privacy-related compliance.
  • Draft legal notices and manage responses to consumer grievances and regulatory notices.
  • Support ongoing litigation, including research, documentation, and coordination with external counsel.
  • Maintain records of all legal notices and litigation matters.
  • Must have experience in legal risks, business processes, and service levels, especially regarding proprietary data, trademarks, IP, and non-standard contract terms.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with digital platforms, data privacy regulations, and intellectual property matters.
  • Familiarity with legal tech tools and contract lifecycle management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Regulatory compliance and risk assessment
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB); Master's degree (LLM) preferred.
  • 7-10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal advisory, preferably in a technology or digital services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with litigation, dispute resolution, and corporate advisory.
