Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Filing and pursuing legal cases for recovery of blocked money.
• Defending and refuting claims filed against the Company.
• Drafting and vetting of contracts/legal documentation at in-house level (unless stakes involved requires for external assistance) to keep cost involved at minimum.
• Keeping the litigation cost as well cost of getting finalization of legal documents at minimum required level.
• Review cases at the end of every month and put feedback in MIS.
• To minimize litigation cost as well cost of getting finalization of legal documentation (Contracts/BG's/Indemnities/notices etc.)
• To help the internal Departments in understanding the compliances of various statutes and judgments having implications on their routine business transactions.
• Doing research work to update with the latest case laws and amendments.
• Handling of cases in the courts/Tribunals (including filing of pleadings, counters, rejoinders, submissions etc.) in time bound manner to ensure speedy and favorable disposal.
• Interacting with the internal Departments to have a close insight into the technicalities involved in the business of the Company

Qualifications:
LLB degree from a reputed college/University
4+yrs of experience post qualification
