Job Responsibilities-
Lead and manage end-to-end testing for telecom applications including specifically in Kennan Billing
Experienced in Telecom Post-paid Billing domain, primarily on Kenan FX (Version 11.7).
Arbor 10.0 and ArborOM which includes billing.
Usage configuration and processing, payments configuration and processing.
Error clearance (MIU) and journal (Related to revenue booking).
Configuration and processing at each step.
Proficient in Oracle PLSQL, Basics of UNIX.
Run bill cycles and validate for errors
Design, develop, and execute test cases for APIs and web services using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
Manage test cycles and defect tracking using JIRA
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to ensure test coverage and quality.
Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous process improvement
Perform advanced SQL queries for backend validation and data analysis.
Ensure test coverage across multiple channels (CRM, online portals, mobile apps).
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Participate and represent teams in various forums like status calls, defect triages, test case and test approach walkthroughs, etc.
Drive automation initiatives and optimize test processes using tools like Selenium and Jenkins
Provide estimations, VROMs and communicate with stakeholders together relevant inputs
Perform thorough impact analysis of defects with correct prioritization. And drive defects to conclusion.
Must Have skills & Experience-
6-8 years of experience in Kennan Billing testing, preferably in the telecom domain.
Hands on experience on Kenan Billing system
Hands on experience on Kenan FX (11.7)/Tuxedo/Rating/Billing/Charging/Rejection/Order management.
Hands on experience on Kenan customize Batch (Payment Processing/write off/writeback/Barring unbarring/RC/NRC/JNL
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent defect management, estimation and risk identification skills
Sound technical knowledge in conjunction with process adherence
Exposure to automation testing, basics of automation
