• Method study, work measurement techniques, MOST, process optimization, Takt time, Line balancing, plant layout, capacity planning, SMED, Operator head count allocation, PPQT
• Maintain capacity model with bottleneck operations identified
• Workstation Design, Ergonomics Assessment
• Coordinate layout and workstations, lines movement activities
• Manufacturing Process mapping, BOM scrubbing, Process Routing
• Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability, Work Instructions, Assembly process set-up, Poka-yoke, jigs and fixtures development, Automation, PLC Logic
• Cycle time reduction through process improvement, Automation
• Overall Labor Efficiency and OEE Monitoring and improvement projects
• Lean Six Sigma principles, 5-S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Waste Elimination
• Collaborate with NPI ME engineers on new product introductions, ensuring adherence to standards and training maintenance and production technicians
• New Production Introduction - establish process, DFA, PFMEA, work instructions, material movement equipments and method, manufacturing support
• Assures production tooling, processing equipment and workstations are available and maintained
• Explore new manufacturing technologies to support customer needs or drive cost reductions
• Reduce machine-generated scrap by monitoring machine management data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations
• Reduce manual assembly scrap by monitoring quality data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations
• Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment
• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment
• Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations
• Handle escalation procedures and participate in rapid problem-solving
• Participate in product design reviews to ensure standardization and safety incident investigations
• Develop and execute process standardization and improvements in OEE, MA, and RTY through Kaizen, A3 projects, and TPM
• Collaborate closely with the TS team on APU and coordinate activities related to IATF16949 & ISO9001
• Align and execute STRAP & AOP processes
