The Deputy Manager - HR (Payroll & Statutory Compliance) will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, statutory compliance including EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and other employee-related HR processes. This role ensures accurate and timely processing, adherence to labor laws, and smooth HR operations while maintaining employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:1. Payroll Management
End-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Salary calculations, deductions, arrears, bonuses, reimbursements, leave encashment.
Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and reporting.
2. Statutory Compliance
Manage EPF and ESI registration, contributions, reconciliations, and submissions.
Ensure Professional Tax (PT) compliance: calculation, deductions, filing, and payments.
Calculate, manage, and ensure timely payment of Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act.
Ensure adherence to labor laws and other statutory requirements.
Assist employees with PF, ESI, PT, and Gratuity claims and settlements.
3. HR Operations
Maintain employee records, joiners, leavers, and personnel files.
Support onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and HR reporting.
Train and guide junior HR/Payroll staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Assist management in HR-related decision-making with data and insights.
4. Audits & Reporting
Prepare reports related to payroll, statutory compliance, PT, Gratuity, and HR metrics.
Support internal and statutory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Identify process improvements in payroll and statutory compliance to increase efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
