This is a strategically critical HR role focused on managing and sustaining effective industrial relations at the plant level. The incumbent will serve as a key liaison between the organization, union representatives, and statutory authorities to ensure a harmonious, compliant, and productive work environment.
Job Responsibilities

Union Engagement:
Foster transparent and proactive communication with the unionized workforce. Address grievances, facilitate dialogue, and build trust-based relationships with union representatives.
Statutory Compliance:
Ensure full adherence to applicable labor laws and statutory requirements. Oversee timely filings, documentation, and audit readiness.
Wage Negotiations:
Lead and support wage discussions with union bodies and internal stakeholders. Prepare negotiation strategies and ensure alignment with organizational policies.
IR Strategy Execution:
Assist in developing and executing the plant's Industrial Relations strategy in line with broader organizational goals. Monitor effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with local government bodies, labor departments, and statutory authorities to maintain a peaceful and legally compliant working environment
Qualifications:

Post-graduation specialization in Human Resources.
7-10 years overall Management Experience
Skills:

Experience providing HR support to manufacturing and commercial teams in India, preferably with MNC
Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization
Should exhibit leadership skills in Planning, directing and controlling
Strategic mindset with operational agility
Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
