Job Description

Purpose of role


To ensure that all HR activities are carried out efficiently by adding value to the existing process like Recruitment and Selection, Reward and Recognition, On boarding and Induction, Internships etc., and recommend changes as and when required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



TALENT ACQUISITION:



Interacting with the Departmental Heads and understand the Manpower requirements. Preparation of organizational chart, updating reports and MIS, salary negotiation etc. Sourcing candidates from Job Portals like Naukri, LinkedIn and other references. Conduct initial round of interview and passing on the candidates to further interview rounds in co-ordination with the Departmental Heads. Continuous Follow-up with candidate and the Departmental Heads right from sourcing to final joining. Handling campus placements and internships.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT:



Conducting orientation and buddy program for new employees. Ensure proper goal setting is done for the new employees. Oversee the implementation of L&D strategy execution by ensuring end-to-end solution delivery with accuracy, quality effectiveness, cost consciousness and understanding of the needs of the business/employees. Conducting training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from HR and business heads or managers. Conducting know your team sessions on a regular basis, sourcing the activities, preparing plan etc. Coordinating and liaising with external consultants on employees' training needs and arranging training schedules for employees. Coordinating trainings through the online learning platforms- Peoplenet/ Lynda. Evaluates the effectiveness of the respective training programs by obtaining feedback from employees.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT, WELFARE & REWARDS:



Responsible for the wellness initiatives to carry out programs to best protect and enhance the health and well-being of employees. Responsible for all HR activities/events to keep employees engaged throughout the year. Responsible for coordinating Rewards & Recognition program; nominations, planning of event, arranging trophies, certificates, rewards etc.

MANAGE COMMUNICATION & PEOPLE ISSUES:



Responsible for designing all employee communication emails and notices. Ensure that employees are timely informed and updated on key HR related issues, initiatives and events. Responsible for handling & resolving work-related issues of all employees on day-day basis.

OPERATIONS:



In conjunction with the Head of HR, ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure all s are kept up to date; create new JDs as and when necessary. Monitor and administer employee leaves and attendance records. Manage the effective running of the HRIS software. Responsible for handing all activities related to the employee's employment life cycle- from entry to exit. Provide information and reports on data such as recruitment, training, employee performance etc. to HR head, department heads and MD as and when required. Ensure all vendor agreements are updated on a regular basis.

KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE



5-6 years' experience in HR generalist role MBA preferably in HR, Industrial relation or Masters Degree in social works. Proven track record in a corporate head office environment. MS office (excel, word, outlook) Excellent operational HR knowledge Excellent verbal and oral communication Able to react quickly in changing circumstances Relates easily to, and communicates effectively with a diverse set of people via both spoken & written methods. Demonstrates an attention to detail Good time management, ability to meet deadlines Good coordinating skills Able to work in different ways depending on requirement, i.e. instructing, directing, collaborating. Needs to be honest and open
