Introduction to the Division /Function: Chakan unit in the CAD division has the expertise to address highly customized solution to meet customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs , this unit has unique skills and know-how in performing projects right from Engineering the solution to Installation and Commissioning at customer\xe2\x80\x99s premise. The operation team consist of Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Quality team who collaborate to deliver an annual revenue of $10MUSD and serve customers in Oil & Gas, Steel, Cement, Power, Fertilizer and Academia. Role Description/Position Summary The role of this position is to ensure on time delivery of engineering document to enable accurate completion of procurement, integration, and testing. The person also needs to ensure 100% compliance to documentation in terms of efficient and traceable transmittal as well as consistently deliver Design & BOM comprising 100% scope on time. Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design the system fulfilling the order / customer requirement.
• Transmittal of controlled documents required for manufacturing / integration of product and assist SCM in approving customized drawings / solutions being procured.
• Defining the work in terms of QAP, BOM, Job Card and record return of experience against each project in terms of correspondence repository and documents related to delay from customer for claims.
• Uploading BOM in SAP against respective project in a timely manner.
• Support / co-ordinate with sourcing, project management, Integration and QC team and ensure the compliance to design is met and delivered.
• Manage and support the sales and project execution team in providing solutions to meet the product technical requirement during tendering and execution phase.
• Documentation of project from start to end of the engineering activity covering the design change and as built drawings.
• Assist SCM in development / identification and qualification of new products which are required in the project.
• Responsible for all NCR\xe2\x80\x99s and timely closure arising during internal and external audit.
• Assist Integration team in finding out optimized resolution arising on shop floor due to ambiguity in design.
• Follow-up with customers for drawing approvals, should be open for travel to site if required, remote assistance to I&C team to clarify technical queries and providing solutions.
• Support project management with necessary documents / records for registering claims and concessions to / from customers, consortium partners, contractors, and sub-suppliers on account of design change and delays from their end resulting into LD and delay of project.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• Total Experience of about 7 to 9 years with at least 3 to 5 years of design experience on AAQMS / CEMS / Process Monitoring products.
• Should have engineering experience in project-based business or products.
• Should have worked on petrochemical, refinery projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Communication and documentation skills
• Hands on experience in AutoCAD 2010 and above.
• Should be able to perform design calculations like lag time, pressure drop, dew point, wake frequency calculation required for system design.
• Should be able to perform Heat load, structural calculation.
