In-depth understanding of end-to-end processes in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS).
Strong knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
Engages in the development and refinement of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/DFMEA/PFMEA).
Ensures control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively at supplier locations.
Promotes continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.
Competent in BOM and Gerber file analysis, ensuring process documentation is in place and effective.
Knowledgeable in the development of tools and fixtures for electrical and electronic parts
Monitors and reports on key quality-related performance indicators, including scrap, rework, and parts per million (PPM) figures.
Conducts vendor visits and evaluations in collaboration with the Design Engineering (DE) team.
Conducts performance analysis of vendors based on process & product quality.
Executes Design Change Request Notices (DCRN) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECN).
Ensures development of tool/ FTG & components delivery as per the project timeline
Communicates and monitors supplier performance using structured rating methods
Ensures compliance with Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949/ISO 9001) and assists in adherence
