Deputy Manager-Commercial( Masters in Export - import specialization)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Commercial responsibilities :

- Guide the company in all its import export activities, in line with applicable laws

- Must have a thorough technical understanding of all kinds of import export activities in India like high sea sale, bonded sale, merchant sale, export sale, etc.

- Manage the movement of products in or out of the country in accordance with relevant local, country and international law and process.

- Comply with appropriate manner all relevant import/export law procedures, tariffs and duties, licenses and restrictions.

- Manage the necessary documentation physical and online for the efficient, cost effective and lawful accomplishment of all import export activities

- Manage the necessary documentation physical and online for the efficient, cost effective and lawful accomplishment of local purchase and sales in India

- Responsible for all custom duty functions, including certification and verification, drawback, and compliance with governmental agencies.

- Liaise with various import export authorities for smooth functioning of operations

- Manage all kinds of import-export credit instruments - such as LC, bills, bill discounting

- Ensure full regulatory compliance in relation to import, export, local sales and local purchase - example, but not limited to SVB procedures, IEC code, import -export licenses, exemptions, MRP codes etc.

- Inventory management and control - full control of inventory of engines, spares and everything else that we may buy or sell

Logistics responsibilities :

- Manage logistic movement of all goods - import , export and local sales

- Understanding of Documents needed for logistic movement in India

- Understanding/generation of e-way bills and other documents

Education :

- MBA in material management

Work Experience Requirements :

- 5-12 years in relevant industry.

- Working experience in Export Import for 8 Years, similar industry professionals are preferred.
