Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the end-to-end claims process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Conducting claims assessments, analysis, and authorizations in alignment with policy guidelines.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of claims.
• Validating and processing high-value claims while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Identifying areas of process improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance claims management.
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports, analyses, and forecasts for management.
• Managing and mentoring a team of claims professionals to foster their growth and enhance team productivity.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims processing and insurance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Postgraduate qualifications in insurance will be an added advantage.
• Over 8 years of experience in managing insurance claims processes with a track record of excellence.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, claims procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience in handling customer interactions and resolving grievances effectively.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to mentor and manage teams.
• Proficiency in using claims management systems and technology-enabled tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
