Position Details Position Development Engineer

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Responsibilities & Key deliverables
Development of parts as per the APQP methodology.
Investment Budget preparation
Tracking of FTGs development.
Quate Synthesis preparation
Proto part Quate Settlement / development
Capital & Revenue PR & PO release
Supplier Capital Payment release
ROCM Settlment /Updation
Scheduling to Supplier till SOP & Handover
Capacity Establishment at Supplier
Tooling Agreement Tracking & Closure
Process finalization (Proto & Serial production) with supplier with PFMEA along with FTG concept design, planning & calibration.
Supplier Audits for finalization of new source / identifying the gaps of existing source.
Support pricing team to finalize the cost of new parts & to suggest VA/ VE proposals to reduce the cost of existing parts.
Identify the resource requirements & prepare the budget.
Participation in various CFT including Change management.
Enhance competencies of supplier by providing technical assistance to supplier including training, counselling, guiding etc.
Prepare MIS as required.
Develop synergy within / outside department & with supplier.
Follow QMS requirements for CDMM department..
Job Requirements Experience (years) Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience as Automobile industry on Engine,Casting (Al & GCI), Machining, Precise Machining,Special Processes,Pipes,Rubber as a Development Engineer
Industry Preferred Automotive
Qualification o BE preferably in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engg from reputed College.
