The incumbent will carry-out PR -PO activities for MRO, Spares and strategic sourcing activities for Turnkey Infrastructure Development projects (Civil, MEP & Lab Furniture) - RFQ to Purchase order and Contract finalization.

This role will also involve driving strategic & digital initiatives for improving the efficiency of overall sourcing processes

This role is expected to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend and develop long-term partnerships with suppliers for improved Quality, Delivery, and safety at optimum Cost

Core Purpose of the Role:

Responsible to Procurement activities of MRO Spares, Service contracts [65% of the spend] and Project Procurement [35% of the Spend]- the day-to-day activities involve:

• Experience in managing PR - PO for MRO, Spares in a production facility.
• Hands on experience in Handling Civil, HVAC, MEP, IT Network, Safety, Fire alarm system and other mechanical / engineering commodities
• To work in close co-ordination with engineering department in finalization of specifications / Scope of work.
• Arranging vendor visits and ensuring that the minimum 3 offers are available for vendor finalization.
• Obtaining Techno commercial offers and getting technical clearance from Engineering department.
• Identify repeat procurement line items and enter Annual rate contracts ARC\'s
• Floating RFQ through E-Procurement portal, carryout negotiation and vendor shortlisting and prepare Quote comparison statement for approval as per DOA.
• Co-ordinate with Consultants from the stage of Project action plan, Macro & Micro Schedule, arrange Concept Design, Layout Drawing, Detailed Drawing & BOQ for Turnkey orders
• Co-ordinate for Floating tender, arranging pre bid meeting with engineering dept, conduct competitive bidding and order closure for lab expansion and setting up of lab infrastructure.
• Preparation of detailed comparison statement capturing Last PO price, Internal estimation, arriving at a negotiation strategy
• Conduct pre commercial negotiation with vendor\'s regarding commercial terms followed by price finalization & vendor shortlisting
• Well versed in working with SAP ERP Tool

Role Accountabilities:

• Ensure the PR to PO TAT of 7 days
• Achieve Cost Saving of 15% from the approved Budget.
• Co-ordinate with operations team to see that PRs are converted to PO\'s and material receipt as per the agreed timeline.
• Shall be a Go-To person for all the material & service needs of projects including acting as interface between Vendor\'s and User\'s in getting the techno -commercial offers and finalization.
• Hands on experience in locating vendors for supply of MRO, Spares for production facility
• Identify vendor for turnkey orders for carrying out MEP, HVAC,PHE, Civil & interiors.
• Sourcing right vendors & finalize the negotiation strategies with internal teams and close deals with best commercial terms
• Techno commercial discussion with local & global vendors on Cost, Delivery, Freight & other terms etc.
• Driving strategic initiative - Working capital management, and Digital Initiatives like E-Procurement
• Understand the Pharma specific requirements and develop the supplier ecosystem to meet the business objectives
