Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Oversee the design and development of electrical and electronic systems including wiring, control units, sensors, and circuit boards for tractors. Ensure the successful integration of electrical and electronic components into tractor designs, meeting performance, reliability, and cost targets. Should have knowledge & exposure in developing EV technologies. Manage design projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Coordinate with other departments to align product development with overall business strategy. Lead R&D initiatives to explore new technologies and design methodologies that enhance product functionality and competitiveness. Implement rigorous testing protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving continuous innovation in electrical and electronics design. Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, manufacturing, and marketing to achieve cohesive product development. Maintain detailed documentation of all design processes, specifications, and changes. Lead and mentor the electrical and electronics design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

General Experience

15-18 years in electrical and electronics design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in off-highway vehicles, tractors, or automotive would be preferred.

Education Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
