Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated
Deputy General Manager
to lead and oversee a
railway platform renovation project
in Kanyakumari. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in infrastructure project execution, particularly within the railway sector, and demonstrate strong leadership in managing teams, resources, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for the railway platform renovation.
Lead coordination efforts among engineering, construction, regulatory, and inspection teams.
Ensure timely delivery of the project within the defined scope and budget.
Monitor day-to-day progress and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays.
Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Prepare, maintain, and present regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards at all stages of the project.
Manage workforce and materials efficiently to meet project milestones.
Maintain access and oversight of various types of labour gangs to ensure resource availability.
