The Deputy General Manager - Projects will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution with a focus on water treatment projects and solar projects. The role requires proven expertise in operations, government tendering, and people management to ensure successful project delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projects.
Ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Monitor progress and resolve project-related challenges proactively.
Government Tenders & Contracts
Oversee tender preparation, bidding, and submission processes.
Handle contract negotiations, compliance, and execution.
Ensure alignment with statutory and government requirements.
Operations & Process Improvement
Optimize project operations for cost efficiency and productivity.
Implement best practices in project management methodologies.
Develop systems for continuous monitoring and reporting.
Team & People Management
Lead, mentor, and manage project teams across functions.
Foster a collaborative work environment and build leadership pipelines.
Manage cross-functional coordination between engineering, procurement, and execution teams.
Technical Expertise
Provide engineering insights in water treatment and solar projects.
Review technical designs, drawings, and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
Strong knowledge of
water treatment projects
(mandatory) and
solar projects
(preferred).
Proven expertise in
Operations & Project Management

In-depth experience in
Government Tenders
(preparation, submission, execution).
Excellent
