Role Overview
TCG Hospitality is seeking a senior, hands-on Deputy General Manager to oversee all hospitality brands, consulting services, franchise operations, and factory/central kitchen production planning.
This role requires a strategic yet execution-driven leader who can operate across restaurants, QSRs, catering, franchises, and food production units, ensuring scale, consistency, profitability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Business Operations
Oversee end-to-end operations of all TCG Hospitality brands (owned, managed, and consulting-led).
Ensure standardisation of SOPs, service quality, food consistency, and cost controls across formats.
Work closely with founders and leadership on business expansion and optimisation.
2. Franchise Business Management
Lead franchise onboarding, launch, and operational support across multiple cities.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, menu, pricing, SOPs, and audit frameworks.
Act as the single-point escalation authority for franchise operational issues.
Support franchise growth strategy, performance reviews, and corrective action plans.
3. Factory / Central Kitchen / Production Planning
Oversee production planning, forecasting, and dispatch for central kitchen / factory units.
Ensure optimal capacity utilisation, inventory planning, wastage control, and yield management.
Coordinate with R&D, menu engineering, and operations teams to align production with brand demand.
Implement systems for quality assurance, food safety, and compliance.
4. Financial & Performance Management
Own unit-level and consolidated P&L performance.
Drive cost optimisation, food cost controls, labour efficiency, and productivity benchmarks.
Conduct sales gap analysis and implement corrective operational strategies.
Support leadership with MIS, dashboards, and performance insights.
5. People & Leadership
Lead and mentor senior managers, plant heads, brand heads, and operations teams.
Drive accountability, discipline, and performance culture.
Coordinate recruitment, training frameworks, and succession planning.
6. Strategic & Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, procurement, and finance.
Support new brand launches, format innovation, and large-format projects.
Act as a bridge between strategy and ground execution.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Requirements
Age: 40 years and above
Total Experience: Minimum 15+ years
Industry Background:
Food & Beverage / Hospitality OR
FMCG / Food Processing / QSR / Large Catering operations
