Lead cross-functional teams in BIW prototype development, including tooling design, manufacturing, and supplier engagement.
Accountable for achieving Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, and Cost targets during BIW prototype builds.
Provide technical oversight on welding technologies, die design, fixturing, and robotic welding systems for efficient and high-quality prototype builds.
Ensure robust product and process quality standards are met across all BIW prototype activities.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of BIW components into the overall vehicle structure.
Define build strategy, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively identify technical, supply chain, and process risks during BIW prototype development.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity, quality assurance, and cost control.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve effectiveness of BIW manufacturing processes.
Drive skill development through targeted training programs and lead improvement initiatives on the proto line.
Understanding on robotic simulation, programing, teaching and maintenance.

Experience
15 to 20 years
Industry Preferred
Automotive, experience in BIW engineering, preferably in prototype or new product development.
Qualifications
B.E. or B. Tech Mechanical, Automotive or Production Engineering.
