Overview The main purpose of this role is to govern and support the implementation and deployment of the Order to Cash - SAP TM and Logistics Modules of the PepsiCo Global template (built through SAP S4 concepts). This role will be primarily responsible for embedded SAP Transportation Management and Logistics functionalities of SAP S4 which includes Freight Unit and Freight Order Management, Inbound and Outbound Transportation, DSD Route Planning, Transportation Cockpit, TM Optimization, Freight Cost Calculations and Settlement, Delivery and Shipment Processing along with interfaces to external Transportation Management and warehousing systems. Objectives are to ensure the governance & deployment of the global template supporting the execution of business processes related to SAP Transportation Management and Logistics across multiple businesses across the globe. This role will adopt and adhere to Agile principles for the all deployment projects. Additionally, In close partnership with Global Process Owner and Leads (GPOs & GPLs), the SDL will ensure the value stream is building the TM solution that drives harmonized data and processes across PepsiCo and will accelerate deployments. This role will adopt and adhere to Agile principles for the Global Template project. The SDL OTC will be a key global solution governance member of the PGT Design Authority (DA) for OTC TM solutions responsible for Level1/Level2 approvals. The DA global charter is to: Maintain integrity of the solution Drive consistent adoption Uphold global processes Certify common data is used Verify universal analytics are used and Evaluate DA Change Requests. The Solution Design Lead (SDL) - Order to Cash - SAP TM and Logistics will assist the Solution Design Owner, OTC, in leading the overall global solution design and governance for the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) Order to Cash value stream for all logistics processes : . 5-Year, Multi-Workstream, Multi-Vendor Program, Multi-Solution Platform . Total spend $2+ Billion approved by Board of Directors The PGT program will design, deploy, and govern a multi-year transformation strategy to implement harmonized and simplified business processes and data enabled by an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system utilizing SAP S/4 HANA Business Suite, financial planning and analysis using SAP SAC Planning, global data maintenance using SAP Master Data Governance, integrated supply chain planning using SAP Integrated Business Planning, trade promotions management using SAP C/4 Trade and Customer Business Planning along with core S/4 HANA capabilities, and global analytics using SAP Enterprise HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). PGT will replace over 500 legacy systems worldwide (# to be confirmed with each capex) with the PGT IT solution across 9 critical end to end business processes: Order to Cash, Record to Report, Financial Planning & Analysis, Make to Deploy and Enterprise Asset Management, Trade Promotion Management, Forecast to Schedule, Procure to Pay and Request to Serve. Order to Cash - SAP TM and Logistics Processes relates to: - Master data setup for SAP TM -Transportation Network including Location master, Transportation Zones, Transportation lanes and Schedules, Transportation Resources, Freight Charges and TM Relevant data for Business Partner and Material Master - Set-up of Freight Unit Building rules from outbound and inbound documents based on various business requirements - Freight Unit Processing based on outbound documents ( eg. Sales Orders ) and inbound documents ( eg. Purchase Orders / Scheduling Agreements) - Freight Order Management including automation with interfaces with external transportation management systems. - Transportation Planning using TM cockpit based on proposed shipment volumes, Lead times, resource availability, Load plans and other business requirements - Freight Tendering with interfaces to external partners to get most accurate freight rates - Freight Cost Calculation based on shipment volumes & allocation of cost to products, business units etc. and Freight Cost Settlement resulting in payments to freight carriers - Set-up of SAP TM Optimization - VSR Optimizer for vehicle scheduling and Load Optimizer to arrange pallets or packages on vehicles based on stackability and other rules - Integration with SAP Logistics and Delivery processes along with 3PL interfaces - Integration with SAP EWM - Experience in SAP International Trade & Exports - Experience of working with other Cross Value Streams like PTP, MTD, RTR and FTS - Reporting and Analytics - Performance KPI, Shipment Volumes, Freight Cost Matrices etc. Additionally, In close partnership with Global Process Owner and Leads (GPOs & GPLs), the SDL will ensure the value stream is building the TM solution that drives harmonized data and processes across PepsiCo and will accelerate deployments. Qualifications Years of Experience: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent required . 8 - 10 years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP ERP with a focus on SAP Transportation Management and Logistics processes within OTC . Strong experience in end to end Order to Cash - TM and Logistics design, development, and implementation, including integration across other functional areas, i.e. Make to deploy, procure to pay, Finance etc. . Deep, broad functional and solution knowledge of SAP solution in following process(es): Order to Cash - Transportation Management and Logistics . Knowledge of all master data objects required to support all Order to Cash - TM and Logistics processes . Strong Order to Cash experience in a global solution development, support, and governance capacity . Integration with SAP EWM for all OTC TM and Logistics processes . Experience in SAP International Trade & Exports . Experience of working with other Cross Value Streams like PTP, MTD, RTR and FTS . Familiar with PepsiCo business processes and nuances related to Order to Cash processes across multiple markets. . Knowledge of solutions deployed within PepsiCo . Previous solution leadership role on a major SAP transformation project(s), solution architect role is a plus . Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization . Proficient in written & spoken English . Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements . Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan, Azure, ALM, ARIS and MS Project .
