Reports to Head of Business Development Europe and India. No direct reportees.
QUALIFICATION:
Post Graduate (Preferably MBA)
EXPERIENCE:
Experience of 8 - 10 years in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Previous experience of handling generic API business for Indian customers (regulated market segment).
Key Roles and Responsibilities.
To draw up & achieve sales budget for India regulated market customers for Generic API products (more than 60 APIs).
Key account management and efficient management of existing customer base & add new customers for territory expansion.
Ability to expand the sales of existing products & also to create opportunities for new products offered.
Sales Forecasting/Budgeting/ Long Range Planning/ Customer seeding will be integral to this role.
Regular travel to meet customers through visits and trade show
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Good hold on Excel & Power point
Negotiation skills
Basic understanding of R&D, regulatory and quality in the API industry.
Ability to hold the conversation with customers and to make presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to handle customers independently.
Preferably worked on Salesforce.com
