To manage overall depot operations including stock management, dispatch planning, sales coordination, manpower handling, and ensuring timely product delivery while maintaining product freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities1? Depot Operations & Inventory Control
Manage daily stock receipts from plant and maintain accurate records.
Ensure proper storage of bread and bakery products with FIFO/FEFO system.
Monitor product shelf-life and minimize market returns & damages.
Prepare GRNs, stock updates, and conduct daily stock reconciliation.
2? Distribution & Logistics
Plan vehicle routing and dispatch to distributors/retail outlets.
Coordinate with delivery staff, drivers, and route supervisors.
Ensure correct loading/unloading and timely delivery to market.
Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.
3? Sales Support & Market Coordination
Coordinate with sales team for order booking and fulfilment.
Maintain good relations with distributors and retailers.
Track sales growth, coverage, and product availability in market.
4? Documentation & Reporting
Maintain ERP / manual records for stock, dispatch, and returns.
Submit daily MIS reports: stock, wastage, sales vs. dispatch.
Ensure compliance with GST, challans, and other statutory documents.
5? People Management
Supervise depot staff, loaders, drivers, and contract labor.
Ensure discipline, attendance, and proper allocation of work.
Conduct training on safe handling and hygiene standards.
6? Hygiene & Compliance
Maintain depot cleanliness and food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines).
Ensure product handling as per industry hygiene norms.
Conduct regular audits and follow company SOPs.

Qualification & Experience
