About the role: With the rise of Blockchain use-cases in logistics such as traceability or authenticity of delivery, the technology has become one of the core competencies of our company. Therefore, we are strengthening our capabilities in this rapidly growing area – and currently looking for a Deployment Manager to join our Blockchain Center of Excellence within DHL IT Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complete deployments area for Blockchain platform and related applications. You will drive the deployment process end to end with the technical leads, architects, deployment engineers and support engineer team, report on risks/issues to management teams, manage constraints within your project and help deploy and scale the solution further. What you will do:

• Deployment manager oversees the release of updates to technical systems
• Developing release schedules
• Providing support during the technical release process
• Ensuring that production systems are functional following a successful release.
• Managing and scheduling synchronized releases across customers
• Maintenance Windows Management & Co-ordination
• Onboarding and Configurations of each DHL nodes
• Facilitate monthly service reviews with business management
• Provide regular deployment updates
• Identify and Report Gaps & Resolutions
• Participate in escalation process

• Excellent communication skills – you know how to communicate with deeply technical engineers, as well as senior management
• Practical experience of being a Project Manager in an agile environment
• Ability to lead and manage a specialist-based, high-performing and multicultural distributed team remotely
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders and customers
• Very good knowledge of overall software delivery and support processes
• Fluent English

• Technical background in cloud, engineering or Blockchain
• Infrastructure, networking and security concepts understanding
• Cloud and on-premise deployment experience (especially Azure services)
