The team you'll be part of

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the Global Services Customer Engineering Delivery team. What you will learn and contribute to
We custom-develop/support core network software/ features that our customers need as their networks evolve but cannot be offered from standard R&D roadmap. As part of our team, you will

  • Deploy the network elements as either VNF or CNF
  • Perform technical tasks for customer projects according to project plan
  • Development of MOP, ATP, and other documentation for projects lab entry
  • Technical support according to project plan
  • Work with the developing team and the integration team to deliver the customized solutions
  • Assist with the Installation of solutions based on the MOP on Greenplum/DCA hardware
  • Execution of test cases for various software drops for the required upgrades
  • Discuss technical questions with the customer
  • Work with the support team to deliver the support to the customized solutions
  • Manage the network configuration (Installation, commissioning)
  • Manage the changes in the network to allow integration with other network systems
  • Report the progress of the work to key project stakeholders
  • Perform the acceptance of new Network Elements into Operations
  • Ensure integration as per Low level solution documents
  • Complete testing and acceptance with customer on the agreed test cases with customer

Your skills and experience
  • Intermediate Technical knowledge on mobile networks
  • Good knowledge of Linux commands, processes, and scripting
  • Clarity about 2G/3G/4G call flows
  • Protocol understanding: MAP/SIP/Diameter/Sigtran
  • Self-starter, demonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude and open to learn new things
  • Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
  • Strong communications skills to interact with the R&D organizations and where necessary, customers
  • Self-driven, independent, and passionate with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to understand customer perspective and end-use-cases to define product behaviour
  • Experience on any commercial Databases (SQL/ MariaDB /Oracle …etc)
  • Programming knowledge in Python/Shell
  • Trace & log file analysis tools (Wireshark/AWK/KSAR/SoapUI)
  • knowledge in Postgres//MySQL/LDAP Databases
  • Knowledge on Cloud solutions (Open stack/VMWare/Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Availability to travel, and to work under pressure with SLA in mind
  • Good understanding of System dependencies & dimensioning for Software Applications performance and availability
  • Advanced level of English language skills
Additional requirement- Supporting in 24X7 environment, ready to work in NAM shifts if required
