As a Department manager, Paint Shop at Maruti Suzuki:
To Ensure smooth and efficient operation of various functions within Paint shop with highest level of Safety and Quality standards.
Strategy planning and execution to manage manpower, achieve production targets, uphold safety standards, maintain product quality, and optimize production costs.
Ensure high quality standards in Paint shop operations, New models introduction, maintain compliance with all company set rules, Factory act rules and various ISO standards.
To conduct process audits and continuous improvement to enhance overall Paint shop operations.

Job Responsibilities:
Safety: Uphold and enforce Safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Compliance: To ensure 100% adherence to company policy, rules, applicable Govt. Factory act rules and various ISO standards.
Quality: Maintain high product Quality standards and implement Quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
Documentation: Prepare Business plan, KPI's inline with the Suzuki Policy and guide team to achieve Targets.
Production: Monitor and optimize Production processes to achieve daily, weekly and monthly Production targets efficiently.
Manpower Handling: Oversee and manage a team of Managers and Engineers, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated to meet Department targets.
Communication: Demonstrate excellent Communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with team and management.
Cost control: Motivate team and Identify opportunities to reduce Production costs without compromising Quality or safety.
Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:
Sound knowledge of Paint shop process (Conveyor, Pretreatment, Top coat etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating and presenting reports.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
Presentation skills to deliver training sessions effectively.
