Role Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Department Head - Mathematics to lead the Math department. The role involves academic planning, mentoring teachers, and ensuring effective learning outcomes for students while maintaining discipline and innovation in teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring academic excellence. Design lesson plans, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies. Mentor and support Math teachers for effective classroom delivery. Conduct training sessions and workshops for continuous improvement. Monitor student performance and implement remedial measures. Collaborate with school leadership on curriculum planning and improvements. Maintain discipline, motivation, and team spirit among staff. Introduce innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and problem-solving activities. Represent the department in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Requirements

M.Sc in Mathematics with B.Ed (mandatory). Minimum 3 years of teaching and academic leadership experience. Strong knowledge of subject matter and modern teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to motivate both students and teachers. Good organizational and time management abilities.
