Job Title Dentist - Patient Care & Teleconsultation Executive Job Summary We are looking for a qualified Dentist to manage patient communication through calls and digital platforms. The role involves calling patients, providing basic dental guidance, appointment coordination, treatment follow-ups, and patient education. This position focuses on patient engagement, care coordination, and tele-dentistry support rather than chairside clinical procedures. Key Responsibilities Patient Communication Make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and treatment explanations Handle inbound patient calls regarding dental concerns, post-treatment care, and general queries Maintain polite, empathetic, and professional communication with patients Tele-Dentistry & Patient Guidance Provide preliminary dental advice based on patient complaints (non-invasive, within scope) Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions Identify cases requiring in-clinic visits and guide patients accordingly Appointment & Case Management Schedule, reschedule, and confirm dental appointments Maintain and update patient records in CRM/HMS systems Track treatment plans and follow up on pending procedures Treatment Coordination Explain treatment plans, costs, and procedures clearly to patients Assist in treatment acceptance and consent coordination Coordinate with clinic dentists and specialists Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate call logs and patient notes Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with medical ethics Follow clinic SOPs and telemedicine guidelines Required Qualifications BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) - Mandatory Valid dental council registration Freshers or experienced dentists can apply Required Skills Excellent communication skills (local language + English preferred) Strong patient counseling and interpersonal skills Basic computer knowledge (CRM, EMR, Excel) Ability to explain medical terms in simple language Calm, empathetic, and patient-focused approach Preferred Skills (Optional) Experience in telemedicine or patient counseling Sales or treatment conversion experience Multilingual communication ability Work Environment Office-based / Clinic-based / Remote (as applicable) Fixed working hours with patient call schedules Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Patient satisfaction scores Appointment confirmation and follow-up rates Treatment acceptance rate Call quality and documentation accuracy Career Growth Senior Patient Care Dentist Tele-Dentistry Consultant Clinical Operations / Patient Experience Manager
