The Dental Technician is responsible for designing, creating, and repairing dental appliances and restorations based on the specifications provided by dentists. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and an understanding of dental anatomy to ensure high-quality results for patients.

Key Responsibilities
Create dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, inlays.
Fabricate orthodontic appliances, retainers, and night guards as prescribed.
Work with materials including ceramics, acrylics, metals, and composite resins.
Read and interpret dentist prescriptions, dental impressions, digital scans, and models.
Use dental laboratory equipment such as CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, hand tools, and polishing units.
Ensure accuracy, fit, and aesthetic quality of dental appliances.
Maintain records of cases, materials used, and time schedules.
Repair and modify dental prosthetics as needed.
Follow sterilization and safety protocols within the dental lab.
Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team for case planning and clarifications.
Ensure timely delivery of lab work as per patient appointments.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Certificate in Dental Technology or Dental Mechanic (DME).
1-3 years of experience in a dental laboratory (freshers can also be considered).
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and prosthetic design.
Skilled in CAD/CAM software (preferred but not mandatory).
Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Good communication and team-collaboration skills.
