Job Description

Fabricate Dental Prosthetics

- Create crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, inlays, and onlays using impressions and prescriptions provided by dentists.

Work with Dental Materials

- Handle ceramics, acrylics, metals, waxes, and CAD/CAM milling equipment to craft dental appliances.

Read and Interpret Dental Prescriptions -

Understand the dentist's instructions, models, and patient specifications.

CAD/CAM Designing -

Use digital scanning and design software to create precise restorations.

Repair and Modify Appliances -

Adjust or repair dentures, crowns, or orthodontic appliances as needed.

Quality Control

- Ensure the final product meets functional, aesthetic, and safety standards.

Maintenance of Tools and Equipment -

Clean, maintain, and calibrate lab instruments and machinery.

Record-Keeping -

Maintain accurate logs of cases, materials used, and timeframes.

Collaboration -

Communicate with dentists and dental staff to clarify specifications or solve problems.

Uphold Safety and Infection Control Standards -

Follow proper sterilization and health protocols in the lab environment.
