Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling and Appointments: Manage appointment schedules, confirm appointments, and send reminders.
2. Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
3. Billing and Insurance: Handle billing, insurance claims, and payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, communicate with dental staff, and coordinate with insurance companies.
5. Office Operations: Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
6. Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information, treatment plans, and billing data into the practice management system.
7. Patient Registration: Welcome new patients, collect necessary information, and complete registration processes.
Additional Tasks
1. Managing Referrals: Track referrals, send thank-you notes, and maintain relationships with referring dentists or healthcare professionals.
2. Marketing and Promotion: Assist with marketing efforts, such as social media management, email marketing, or promotional events.
3. Staff Support: Provide administrative support to dental staff, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with patient care.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintain patient confidentiality, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
