Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Consultant Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental instruments, sterilization processes, and patient care. As a Consultant Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting with dental procedures, managing patient documentation, and ensuring the operatory is prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Dental Instruments Knowledge:

Proficient in identifying and handling various dental instruments. Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and arranged for use.

Sterilization Process:

Adhere to strict sterilization protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Monitor and record the sterilization process and equipment maintenance.

Patient Documentation & Care:

Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and updates. Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.

Assist in Dental Procedures:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their treatment. Hand instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.

Operatory Arrangement:

Prepare the operatory before each patient visit by setting up the necessary instruments and materials. Ensure the operatory is clean and organized at all times. Manage dental supplies and inventory to ensure availability for procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role. Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and dental procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in dental software and patient management systems is a plus.

Pay: ?192,000.00 - ?216,000.00 per year
