:
Installation & Configuration: Setting up Denodo servers, virtual databases (VDBs), components (Scheduler, Data Catalog), and environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
Performance Optimization: Implementing caching, query delegation, join strategies, and tuning VQL queries for efficient data delivery.
Security & Access Control: Managing users, roles, authentication (SSO), authorization, and data governance policies.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Using the Administration Tool to monitor system health, logs,
alerts, and resolve performance bottlenecks or connectivity issues.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Performing software upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
Data Integration Support: Configuring data sources, publishing data services, and supporting data virtualization across heterogeneous systems (Big Data, RDBMS).
Key Tools & Concepts:
Denodo Administration Tool: For creating/editing VDBs, data sources, views, services, and configuring cache/server settings.
VQL (Virtual Query Language): Understanding SQL and VQL for view modelling and query optimization.
Caching & Query Delegation: Key performance features.
Denodo Architecture: Knowledge of VDP, Scheduler, Solution Manager, Data Catalog, and server components.
