to join our kitchen team. As a DCDP, you will support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while ensuring kitchen standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within the assigned section.
Ensure all food items meet the required standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Manage mise-en-place efficiently to ensure smooth service.
Supervise and support Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
Assist in stock rotation, inventory control, and minimizing food waste.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment faults to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the team.
