Job Summary
The Demi Chef de Partie assists in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality food in line with the hotel's culinary standards. You will support daily kitchen operations, help maintain consistent food quality, and contribute to a smooth service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare ingredients and assist with mise en place for daily service.
Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Cook dishes according to hotel standards and menu specifications.
Ensure proper portioning and plating of food items.
Kitchen Operations
Maintain a clean and organized work station and adhere to food hygiene and sanitation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Rotate and store food items properly, monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Assist with basic inventory management and cost control measures.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
Assist senior chefs and provide guidance to junior kitchen staff when needed.
Communicate effectively with colleagues during service and kitchen operations.
Participate in menu planning and development when required.
Standards & Compliance
Adhere to all food safety, health, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and culinary best practices.
Maintain high personal grooming and professional standards.
Be flexible to assist with other kitchen duties as required, including special events and high-volume service.
Qualifications
Culinary qualification or diploma preferred.
Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role, ideally in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

Physically able to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.
