What would you do?

We are looking for a commercially savvy FP&A Reporting Analyst (5+ years' experience) with FP&A reporting experience to support the financial planning, performance analysis and strategic decision making of a Retail client. The role will be a part of our client's FP&A team - responsible for financial planning, budgeting and analysis delivering strategic business insights to executives on key elements of the Company's operations. o Support the preparation of the corporate budget, forecasts and the corporate plan covering the P&L and other KPIs for the business, which will involve: o Working closely with Finance teams, developing an understanding of trends in performance, and key issues, activities, and timetables o Consolidating submissions into the corporate Retail picture, providing constructive challenge to relevant Finance teams o Assisting in the production of executive summaries and board papers which distil the data and focus on the key issues o Support the production of timely, accurate, and insightful periodic management accounts o Coordinate and consolidate the Latest View process by working closely with divisions on their latest expectations and monitoring the risks and opportunities o Work closely with Finance teams to establish consistency, development of best practice and triangulation of forecasts across the business / financial statements, particularly surrounding future developments of reporting o Support the Group Finance and Investor Relations teams on the corporate interim and preliminary financial reporting process o Assist in the production of a high quality internal and external financial / business review in addition to answering queries raised by the Senior Leadership Team to support external reporting o Perform sensitivity analysis and financial evaluation of different financial performance scenarios o Perform a high standard of ad hoc analysis supporting the Head of Retail Financial Planning, Commercial & Retail Finance Director and CFO

What are we looking for?

Retail experience is a plus. o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail o Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights o Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with planning/reporting tools (OneStream, Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI) preferred o Effective communicator with stakeholders, ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders & build trusted relationships at all levels o Strong planning and prioritization skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced consumer driven environment

oIn this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems o May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures o The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals o Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor o May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture o Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments o Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside o Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture o Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
