What would you do?

Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes. Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures. Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.

What are we looking for?

o Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related discipline o Masters Business Administration o Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing o Knowledge of procurement operations o Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint) o Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment o Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment o Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of suppliers o Ability to drive transformational change o Solid multi-phase project management skills o Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients o Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers o Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

Roles and Responsibilities:

oIn this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems o Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures o The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals o Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads o Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture o The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments o Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams o Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture o Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
