is seeking an experienced and proactive Delivery Manager to lead and manage end-to-end logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on supply chain experience, and the ability to optimize last-mile delivery, inventory, and order management. This role demands
operational efficiency, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive performance across teams and regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of supply chain professionals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching, feedback, and training.
Maintain performance rating sheets for delivery partners, FAS (Field Assistant
Supervisors), and area supervisors, based on error rates and distribution of health.
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and service vendors.
Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
3. Logistics & Distribution Oversight
Plan and coordinate transportation and last-mile distribution activities.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and internal locations.
Roll out and manage the FAS Program to minimize delivery errors.
Implement buffer strategies and backup plans to improve on-time delivery rates.
4. Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels across micro warehouses and distribution hubs.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize loss and discrepancies.
Optimize stock levels to balance availability with cost-efficiency.
5. Order Management
Forecast and manage order volumes efficiently.
Ensure a smooth experience for first-time orders and new customers.
Minimize delivery issues for newly onboarded clients.
6. Process Optimization & Growth Planning
Continuously review supply chain processes and implement improvements.
Drive digital adoption and enhance experience for B2B partners and outlets.
Lead expansion and growth planning for new geographies and delivery models.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate closely with Morning Logistics, Area Supervisors, and internal stakeholders.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to align logistics with business
goals.
Visit delivery routes regularly to evaluate route health and operational efficiency.
8. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to all company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain operational reports such as TAT (Turn-Around Time) and escalate issues
promptly.
Present regular performance insights to senior leadership.
9. Risk Management
Identify and mitigate risks in delivery and supply chain operations.
Make prompt decisions during disruptions, balancing business continuity and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication skills in English, Telugu, Hindi
Proficient in supply chain tools, data analysis, and reporting.
Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive goals.
